The Fate Of Oblurbia...

We lost Never Been In Love. Good riddance, this song was so annoying and i'm so happy it left.

Again, less than half the countdown budged. At least we got some big moves from the songs that did move.

Arrow and Hard To Be Happy seems poised to leave next week. Both are dropping in airplay on The Pulse and on the entire Hot AC format.

The Fate Of Ophelia made a massive 12 spot jump to the top 2 this week. It's only a matter of time until this gets #1, and it'll be great when it does.

Marshmello and Jelly Roll are still at #1 for some reason, i don't know why, but they're still here...

That's all for now, I would normally take Moxie somewhere this weekend but she is very spooked from her coyote encounter last night. She's still frightened...

We have two debuts this week. Let's get through it:

Myles Smith debuts with Stay (If You Wanna Dance), his latest entry after the #1 song Nice To Meet You. This faded on me slightly. Myles Smith sounds great as always but the production is generic.

Taylor Swift amazingness is back. After The Tortured Poets tortured themselves even more by being a massive flop, she is finally back with what is her 4th best album, The Life Of A Showgirl. And from it is the lead single The Fate Of Ophelia which is now on The Pulse Top 15. This is her first good song on the pulse since the #1 hit Is It Over Now? in early 2024 (it spent 18 weeks and 4 weeks in just 2024!) and that was just a re-record of an already made song. The Fate Of Ophelia is great, and spoiler, it will finally start to make big moves on my charts this week. Next week, she will likely steal The Goo Goo Dolls' crown as the best song on The Pulse top 15.

Charlie Puth debuts with more mid. My god, he hasn't made a good song that became a hit since Attention. Changes seems like it'll become a hit here, but not on the Daniel Weekly Twenty. I don't even remember what this sounds like 5 minutes after listening to it. Please flop like all your songs have done.

Hard to just be blurby...

We lost Wildflower and Eternity this week. Wildflower became older than it already was. It debuted in August, which by that time it was gone everywhere else. It would then stall in the bottom 5 for 6 weeks and not do anything, including 3 weeks at #11 if it finally left. It left just in time to not become the orange song.

We also lost Eternity. It seems like this is going to get replaced by Bloodline, but i don't know why. Bloodline is older and has less streams than Eternity, and does anybody even like Jelly Roll anymore? both are great songs but i was hoping Eternity would be the one to stick around (for an eternity. Ba-dum-tss...).

Part of why i don't do biggest jumps or drops is because it wouldn't be exciting half the time. Literally one song dropped this week, and that song Not Goodbye only dropped one spot this week. and the biggest jump jumped a whopping 3 spots. Wow, that's crazy.

Speaking of Not Goodbye, it was goodbye to the #1 spot for The Goo Goo Dolls. But the #1 song now is Marshmello and Jelly Roll's Holy Water, again. This is starting to get old so hopefully Not Goodbye can take it back.

That's all for now, I gotta go take Moxie to New York City. I'm going to have her eat an apple in the Big Apple. Do you think it's physically possible for her to eat an apple? I don't think it is. And hopefully it's not possible for a certain StarBandi to eat an animal. But alas, we have a gecko advertising insurance to us so... Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
