Daughtry is back on the countdown for the first time since 2021, or an even longer time, with "Antidote". This is kind of cheesy, but it's still good. The band sounds as good as they can and the production is cool.

We have 3 songs that make their long-awaited crossover to Hot AC.
The first one isn't so long-awaited, but the other two are. Katy Perry is back with Bandaids, which if it debuts on the top 15 will be her first song since When I'm Gone, as no 143 singles were on the pulse. But this is so much better than 143. It reminds me a lot of early Katy Perry like Waking Up In Vegas, and I'm happy to see her grand return be this song and not Woman's World.
RAYE's Where Is My Husband is huge everywhere and hopefully it will be huge on Hot AC too. It's a really fun song and very original too and I'm hoping this can make it on the top 15!
AJR is back with The Mid Goodbye. I used to like this but not anymore. It's too long and doesn't really do anything for me. However, the boys sound good and maybe this will grow back into me, we'll see.

Active countdown this week, even if there was only 1 debut!
We say byebye to The Dead Dance. I'm surprised this left early considering it's still gaining traction elsewhere. However it wasn't the best thing in the world so I don't mind this left.
If Mystical Magical can survive two more weeks, it can pass Ordinary to be the 5th biggest song of the year.
A bunch of songs made small unexpected drops, like Man I Need, Back To Friends, Tears, Better Me For You and Happen To Me.
Opalite and Bloodline both made huge but somewhat expected jumps. Hopefully these can hit #1!
That's all for now, I have to take Moxie to meet Robert F Kennedy Jr. Apparently RFK has ivermectin or something to make her lose weight, i have no idea. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
