I Would Want To Blurb, Baby, Please Believe Me

So up first is our first song on the countdown, which also happens to be our first debut. Tate McRae is back with her first solo track in just 2 weeks shy of a full year. The song is called 'greedy'. The song is also pretty great, as you can tell if you've been with me on discord that you can see i've streamed it 263 times. So yeah, this song is nothing but amazing. Even the fact that it's only 2 minutes and 11 seconds long doesn't drag this song down at all. It still has a bridge which makes it feel longer, and that's good. Even if a song is actually short, it seems longer than it is and that's a plus. And there's the catchyness. Damn, 'greedy' is so catchy! It's also quite the earworm and the chorus is stuck in my head in addition to just being plain catchy. Tate never fails to make catchy and fun tracks that aren't party loops. Good job Tate, I want more music soon and for Greedy to smash!

Fast Car by Luke Combs re-entered. Why? I don't know. Is this a good thing, though? YES! If you read my review i did on Fast Car, You'll know how much i love this song. I won't write an 800 word essay this time if you can already see the one i did in the link i put previously in the "review", but all you need to know if you're too lazy is that it's absolutely dazzling and deserves all the success it is getting.

Nicki Minaj now has 2 songs on the countdown, now that Last Time I Saw You debuts pretty high up at #17. When I first heard the news about a new Nicki Minaj song, I was like "oh god, we really don't need more sex music on the radio, Seven and Barbie World is enough. but then i heard that this new song, 'Last Time I Saw You', has no explicit lyrics. That helped my fears go away. Then, the song released on September 1st, about 3 weeks ago. It just blew me away. I never thought Nicki Minaj could make good music again, considering her last hit that i liked was 'The Night Is Still Young' and that was 9 years ago. She still has terrible music - Barbie World is annoying, short, stupid, repetitive and sexual all at the same time. Super Freaky Girl was just- oh god, i don't even want to talk about that. But this is quite the pleasant surprise. It highlights Nicki's vocal talent really well, and I'm glad she finally got to show the world that she doesn't just make sexual music. Good job Nicki, I'm really looking forward to Pink Friday 2 after this amazing song.

What It Is, Blurb, What's Up?

First, Let me talk about the songs leaving us: They were NewJeans and Super Shy, a double dose of K-Pop leaving as Fifty Fifty's Cupid also left, and a record breaking highest drop off the countdown as Harry Styles' Satellite exited from #3, which seems to be a new record that was only held for a short time beforehand by Sabrina Carpenter's Nonsense. I also want to mention that Harry Styles doesn't seem to like the fourth week of September, as this week one year ago, Harry Styles dropped an astonishing 14 spots from #1, a feat only done once before by Fall Out Boy and Alone Together. I liked Satellite, but it was getting old so I'm fine with it gone. Super Shy is in the abyss and will likely be back, but it might be too early to tell at this point in time. Cupid by Fifty Fifty is also done, and it was a little old, but slightly better than Satellite so I'm fine with it leaving now as it seems like a perfect time before it gets too old.

Hits 1 must love Crash Adams and Non-Hits in general. It's been proven, and if you lived under a rock until now, Hits 1 proved it again with Sugar Mommy randomly jumping 8 and Give Me A Kiss randomly jumping 4 after already being off the survey. Interesting, Not really complaining but not exactly happy either.

Vampire also left the top 5, as it dropped 2 spots to #7. This used to be amazing but now it's the lower end of great. I'm starting to get tired of it, so perfect timing for it to get dropped down the countdown.

I'm surprised Keep Going Up and Lil Boo Thang are stuck at the bottom, but I'm not complaining either.

Kylie Minogue dropped 5 spots to #26. Ouch. On the good side, Teddy Swims and Lose Control leaped 5 spots off his debut at #30 and is now at #25. Please keep going up! Well, Please, Keep going up more than Keep Going Up will. Thanks.

Lol. Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice took the Barbie Bus 9 spots down the countdown to #24, making it the biggest drop of the week. That's great news, please leave next week. 🙏

Also in good news, Doja Cat dropped 4 spots back to #27 because she can never seem to leave the bottom 10. If this was Attention, i would be sad, but we're talking about a mid song so i'm not complaining whatsoever.

Fall Out Boy got a pretty big jump to #16, up a grand total of 6 spots. I'm not complaining, but this has already faded on me. We'll see if I can grow back into it if Hits 1 tries to push this further.

Noah Kahan & Post Malone jumped another 4 to a new peak of #14. LET'S GO!

Enough Is Enough is now top 10, lol. This isn't becoming a hit, so i don't know why they haven't given up on this yet, it's been almost 2 months of pushing this now.

Unfortunately, A song that does have a pop push is Seven by Jungkook & Latto. Please drop Seven spots the next few weeks and then leave the countdown. We don't need this in the top 10.

Used To Be Young and Popular both make the top 10, albeit Popular took 4x the amount of time as Used To Be Young. Popular is somehow growing on me again, while Used To Be Young is rapidly fading on me. Crazy, right?

Wow, Doechii is at #2; I could definitely see this as the next #1 to follow Cruel Autumn. We'll see.

Why are they still pushing Summer, or Autumn Baby? Lol.

Dua Lipa danced 2 spots away from #1. Good. Keep dancing further away and eventually off the countdown, please.

And that leaves us with the returning #1 from Taylor Swift and Cruel Summer, or Autumn. This honestly makes sense since it's still huge on pop radio and it slightly faded on me but i don't anticipate it to fade further. I expect at least a few more week at #1 with this summer song when it's fall now.

That's all for now, Please tell me in the comments how you think i did!
